Principal's Corner

Principal Gallo

Kris Gallo is in her 32nd year in public education as both a teacher and administrator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Lafayette College in 1991. She received her Master’s in Education degree from UMass Amherst in 1992. Kris then taught high school mathematics at Souhegan High School in Amherst NH for 14 years. During the following 3 years, she served as Souhegan’s Dean of Faculty and received her CAGS in Administration and Supervision from UNH. In 2009, Kris became principal at Mast Way School in the Oyster River School District. And in 2012, she was chosen to open the doors of Christa McAuliffe School along with a dynamic staff.

Kris and the CMS Staff believe that students’ social, emotional, and academic success are top priority within our school community. We ensure that Concord School District’s Sacred Seven are a focus of teaching and learning. We strive for all of our students to practice and become active self-directed learners, effective collaborators, informed decision makers, creative producers, effective communicators, life planners, and community participants.
